Applying dependent visa after rejection of Visitor Visa

Post by wajidmehraj » Tue Dec 17, 2013 5:34 pm

Hello everyone,

I am in UK on a Tier-2 ICT valid till Sept 2014.Had tried applying for a visitor visa for my wife in India but that was rejected on the grounds on sufficient documents not being available based on what she stated in the interview.

Now I am applying for a Dependent visa for her, would like to know if we should make a mention of “rejected visitor visa” applied for earlier and if yes what is suggested to be mentioned.
Thanks everyone.

Thanks,
Wajid

Yes you must mention the refusal. There is a specific section for this purpose. If you fail to declare the refusal she may be refused on deception grounds.
