Help with English lang requirement

Post by atman » Mon Dec 23, 2013 7:21 pm

All,

My wife has taken a ESOL with citizenship course and has passed with a level B1.
However she did this before 28 Oct 2013 and we will be applying in Jan 2014. Does the fact she did Esol with Citizenship make her passing invalid and will she need to redo anything?
She has also passed the Life in Uk exam. Will the UKBA receive confirmation of passing the Life and UK and the ESOL exam?

Thank you for any help. I am soo confused!

It does not matter even if passed esol exam before oct-13. It is still valid and you can use the same for ILR application . Life in UK results are reflected in ukba database immediately but they say to allow 2 days time after the exam date. So your wife is fine in terms of English language requirement and life in UK result
