Visa extension and dependant visa application

hello there,

it's my first time in this forum, just looking for an answer in my queries, i am presently working here in Saudi and I'm from Philippines.

My wife is working in the UK for more than 3 years now as ODW (private household under the old rules before 6 april 2012) under that rules she can get me as her Dependant (spouse) so we are now start the process. on March 2014 she need to renew or need to apply for visa extension for the 4th time.

Can she apply for her visa extension together with the dependant visa application for me..? or we need to wait for her visa extension and apply for my dependant visa separately...?
