Entering UK on a settlement visa and visiting EU countries

Hi,

Can anyone please advise if my Chinese wife, entering the UK on a settlement visa, would then be entitled to holiday in other EU countries without further visas?

I've searched for info on this and couldn't find any...

Search for Schengen. She would most definitely need one and should be free for the spouse of a EU national. Read the forum tho - lots seem to having battles, and struggling to make appoinments. And don't start me on the ripoff 0906 lines to make appointments, that's 15 quid before you start.....
