WORTH COMPLAINING?

,hi,has anyone made a formal complaint about uk immigration services at heathrow? wont go into the detail but ,just wondered if its worth the bother to complain and try for compensation for wasted flights etc? can anyone offer advice on what your rights are whilst your being questioned etc,eg right to legal representation or help from your countrys consulate etc? or where i can get help/legal advice etc? thanks.

ya i would like to know also do we have any rights.. like the rights we see in the us dramas, that i wont say anything until my lawyer comes?

It only makes sense complaining on race dicrimination grounds or if the staff were violent towards you. It is difficult to tell without knowing the details.
The immigration staff have the legal duty to question all the non-EU arriving passengers if they qualify for entry in the country under the Immigration Rules. If you are in possession of a valid passport with a valid entry clearance document it is unlikely they will question you for long let alone hold you.
