Dear Puma, I have got an answer from Nationality Helpdesk <NationalityHelpdesk@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk>, which stats "...I can confirm that if an applicant is applying for settlement or nationality, they can submit an expired certificate provided it meets the requirements. The expiry dates on the given lists at the link above do not apply to settlement or citizenship applications. If your test is on the given list it will be acceptable.
