interview call letter urgent plz

hiya.

I came to uk on 22/01/2004 and currently my tier 1 entrepreneur application is under process. yesterday (30/12/2013) I sent my ILR documents to HO via royalmail special delivery for varying my application which they received today. today I also received interview letter (dated 30/12/2013) via recorded delivery from HO regarding my tier 1 application. The interview date in on 08/01/2014 and I need to confirm HO abt this interview till 02/01/2014.

Now my question is as I already applied for ILR what should I do now ?
do i need to confirm interview or inform HO that i already vary my application ?
or do not need to do any thing ?

you dnt need to do much. call home office(ask your lawyer if you have one) tell them what you have done, ask them if you are still required for an interview if they still want you for an interview they say so you would have to go. otherwise if the fee to vary an application has been taken out, they should same time update their system you seemingly wont get an interview to attend, varying an application would have put you in different category where interviews normally are not required.

its latter that they posted out to you before they could see a varying application request it would not otherwise have happened.

@ fasaal, you wont need to attend the interview as you have already apply for your ILR by VARYING your initial Tier 1 entrepreneur application.
The reason why you receive the interview letter is because your application to VARY has still not been link with your Tier 1 entrepreneur application and all you should do is to call them and tell them that you have already VARY your Tier 1 entrepreneur application to ILR and they will cancel your interview and process your ILR application accordingly.

Congratulation as you are one of the lucky few who got lucky with HO delay tactics. You beat them in their game.

In the interview letter HO mentioned that i need to confirm the interview through email. so is it ok if i inform HO through email that i already apply for ILR and HO received my application on 31/12/2013. is it enough ? or I MUST need to call HO abt it. plz give ur valuable advice.

Its better to reply the email as well and also call them, the email will be proof that you respond to their request for interview by updating them on your ILR application.

I have varied my current application for a different category (ILR) as I have posted out a request to vary my application to this address: on 00/00/0000 using Post office recorded delivery service. while I have received a interview latter dated 00/00/0000 on 00/00/0000 before I confirm my availability for this interview, as above stated there has been a change in my application, I need to know if I am still required for this interview.

I am available to be interviewed once I am confirmed if still an interview is required, I would really appreciate your guidance on this matter,
