Hello Everyone,
My father has a Portugal Nationality and mother Indian Nationality,My father leaves in India, Next month they both are coming to Portugal just for holidays,I know my father can come to London from Portugal without visa as he is European,i just want to know if my mother can also come with my father to London just for visit WITHOUT UK VISA,please reply i will appreciate.

In order to fly via the UK your Mother would need a Family Permit I would suggest they apply for a shengan visa from the Portuguess Embassy nearest them and fly via Germany , Holland or France she would need one anyway to enter europe

your mother (non-eu partner of EU national) can simply apply EEA family permit. See the documents need for that.

Your dad will be exercising treaty rights by travelling to the UK for visit, treaty right is activated when an EU citizens leaves the country of which they are a national to travel to another member state with which they do not hold citizenship, there are no conditions applied in this instance, if your parents now decide to settle in the UK, that's when the EU citizen have to demonstrate they meet other requirements.

Thanks Dalebutt and Sheraz,i just wanna know one thing i am planning to go to holidays to Portugal, i have Portugal nationality and my wife and kid Indian nationality on EEA 2 do they need a visa to come with me and should i have to take the insurance also,please reply i will appreciate.
