Tier 2 (ICT-Short term)

Hi,

I came to UK on ICT-Short term visa and valid from Sep13 to Sep14.
I got a sponsor.. and they are ready to sponsor. But my question is " Is it possible to switch from ICT-Short term to Tier 2 If I leave my present employer and get a sponsorship from new UK employer ?"

No.

You would be subject to a 12 month out of UK 'cooling off.' After the 12 month cooling off, your employer would need to issue you a restricted certificate of sponsorship and you would need to apply for entry clearance.
