Tier 2 General Start Date

My CoS stated 17th Feb 2014 as the start date of employment. However the BRP that I have received states 31/12/2013 as the Date of Issue.
I am still with my current employer and intend to stay for another month. Will this cause any problem as such? There is no entry for "Valid from date" on the BRP.

you can continue working for your present employer until the work start date in the CoS.
