Tier 2 Short term ICT to dependent

Hi all,

I am currently in U.K staying with Tier 2 ICT Short term visa valid until Apr 2013. My wife is currently holding dependent visa.
1) If a employer is ready to process a Tier-2 General visa for her, Can I stay in this country as dependent to her without the one year cooling period?
2)Can I work with the dependent visa?

Please let me know ASAP. Your help is really appreciated.

1. yes - she will need a restricted CoS which will probably also involve her employer doing an RLMT and she'll have to apply from her home country
