ILR Gap Issue

Hi,
I have more than 180 Days GAP in my 5 year stay in a single stretch.This was with vaid visa.I am in Tier 2 ICT visa.
Can any one suggest the possibility of getting an ILR and if some one already faced this and gone thru a lawyer..pls share the lawyer details.
