application variation on new grounds: new biometrics or not?

Post by sagareva » Fri Jan 10, 2014 7:19 am

Hi folks, PLEASE anyone with experience of varying a PENDING application on new grounds -- eg pending tier 1 extension application to ILR - did you have to re-do biometrics at the time of variation?

Make the new application, inform the UKBA you are seeking to vary your application, and pay the fees difference. If there is a necessity to retake biometric, you will be informed of this.

sagareva, I think you ought to show some respect. For further guidance see the guide (click) at page 36. If you want to demand immediate advice, pay for a legal advisor.

don't be ridiculous. the first comment was trolling -- that's all it was. it was trolling. so i responded appropriately.
esteemed member had nothing to contribute on the topic, and had no business commenting.

and i know this guidance by heart, you know very well it does not give an answer to my question.

Sagareva i think you will have to do as Obie suggested or keep on waiting for a response or pay for a solicitor and maybe be told the same thing that Obie told you.

Good luck in finding a reply to your query.

Obie was not 'trolling'. If you continue to disrespect a Moderator you'll be on -thin ice-. An apology wouldn't go a miss.

Hello,
Please ensure you pay the full fees for the new application instead of the difference.
I am currently waiting for a JR bcs I varied my application but paid the fee difference, the case worker sent the new application back as invalid after biometrics (abt 3 months after the in time application) to state i did not pay the complete fee for me and my dependant.Despite writing a cover note and resending, I got a refusal letter with no appeal as he is claiming i applied after my visa expired .........

when you put in another application they should ask you again which of the 2 applications u want them to threat. and you need to do the biometrics again for the new application.

hope this helps
