humanitarian protection

Post by Salahben86 » Thu Jan 09, 2014 5:31 pm

People Please Help !!!!!

I was born in Libya in 1986, lived in Germany 6 years (2-8).

Moved to UK with father working for the Libyan Embassy in 2000.

Moved back to Libya in 2004 and came back in 2005 to start university.

Studied and Graduated in 2009 (2005-2009).

Moved back to Libya in 2009 to join big oil company in Libya for work. (during my time at work, always had visitor visa to uk valid).

Due to the uprising in Libya (March 2011), I left Libya to claim asylum in the UK as I had a visitor visa valid till Aug 2011.

Asylum was refused and I appealed against the decision and was granted Limited Leave to Remain (1st Aug 2011 - 31st July 2012).

On 20th July 2012, I sent my application for renewal through a solicitor.

Since July 2012 all I received from Home Office is a confirmation of application received.

I have pushed my local MP to push the home office, NO success

I have my father treating cancer in Vienna and in his last days and might die soon,

Could anyone please help tell me how I could travel to see my father while the application remains under process. (home office have all my documents)

I am afraid you cant travel till you get your papers back and hopefully a positive decision as well.Did you enclose evidence your father is ill when communicating with your mp and the border agency?

You should inform the home office but please be aware that they could still make a negative decision.

Look at the current Lybia country guidance. Could section 3.10 apply to you as the basis for a fresh asylum claim which could then be requested to be expedited on compassionate grounds (with the help of your MP)?

Sorry for not getting back to you guys, as My father passed away last sunday.

I feel that I lost my life, as I was always active and hard worker ...... got my degree in accounting (2006-2009) with no financial help and paid all fees and living expenses myself.

Never been in trouble with anyone including the police .

always had visa and always made sure to apply for the correct one, and always applied on time

I see my self as a better candidate than many friends and people I know.....

I am going through a lot now days, as I couldnt even travel to Austria to see father for the last time ......

Home office have no mercy on human beings.....

I see the situation so simple as UK is one of the worlds greatest country with eye on human rights and they should've :

took my application July 2012 and within 3 months they shouldve made a decision, and If they were not sure about what to grant me, I think they shouldve grant me Limited Leave To Remain till they know ...... no need to make life more complicated

I used to work for Shell EP in Libya before the uprising and was one of the best in Finance (2years of experience)

I dont know why they treating me like that ...... never thought I end up going to the job center to get benefit ...... they made me feel soooooooo cheap

now I might end up going to the media to show the world how they treat humans here .....

Sorry for the sad words but you got to understand that I lost my mind over my fathers death
