Entering UK on Russian Passport with ILR

My partner is going to Russia on business (she's Russian - has ILR) but her passport expires mid March (new one in the works).

Russia has no problem with her travelling on it up till expiry, but what about her return to UK - is there a set amount of time that should be left or is ok until expiry date ok to re-enter?

As long as the passport is valid, there will be no problem.
