ILR and traffic query

Hi guys,

I need some help as I am applying for ILR on 10 years base
next week.

I had been caught driving without insurance in 2006 for which i got fined 250 and 6 points an then again i got done for it under circumstances i could not have helped in 2007 and got disqualified and 6 points with 600 fine.

they are spent now n my crb basic shows clean.

will this be a problem guys i have been clean ever since and regret to this day what i done

From current rules, it wont affect you. I was disqualified 6 months reaching 12 points one of offense was no insurance. I provided all the details while doing IRL it was granted. :) They were not spent, it will take another year for me for these offenses to be declared as spent.

Hi there, mate did you check the PNC report were your traffic offences shown on the report or not. Or did you just took the risk and went for the PEO appointment

Any mods out there could u please help me aswell and guide me to what might be my outcome , I am applying by post as there is no option for 10 years ilr on peo anyway,

It should have no bearing as 24 months have lapsed since you were convicted. All convictions should be declared.

cheers for the reply amber , So it wouldnt matter even i had multiple convictions ? i am just worried i am looking at my 10 years here going down the drain for some stupid things i done as a teenager but i am a change person with a family havingtwo kids and wife, I am just horrified ,it is just the matter of having been caught twice which is worrying me

No, it should not, not for ILR. Personally I wouldn't consider you a persistent offender.

No I didnt do any criminal checks PNC or CRB, and didn't even seek any advise from Solicitor. I simply gave a punt and it paid off. Luckily I was not even aware that recently rules changed just a week before I applied as a result I was granted ILR.
