Hi Guys. I need your advise as I'm really stressed out at this stage.
I am an non EU national and have been living in Ireland since 2000 but legally since 2008 and working legally to date. I was married to an Irish citizen in 2007.
I have applied for Irish nationalization through marriage in January 2012. In April 2012 marriage broke down (I was married in 2007) and I informed the department of justice of change of my address circumstances. They replied by asking if I had any Irish born children and if I was legally separated which I answered NO to both. In April 2013 the department of justice replied by saying that the minister will refrain from taking any decision until December 2013 so he can be satisfied that I continue to be of good character. I got legally separated by court in May 2013 (I have not informed them of this yet. don't know if I should).
To date I have not got an answer from them. I am really worried at this stage as my leave to remain expire in November 2014.
Any help advise on this matter would be much appreciate it.
Thanks
