Federal skill class immigration funds requirement

Post by ssidd » Thu Oct 03, 2013 10:44 am

Hello,

I am planning to apply Canadian immigration but I need to find out that

Can I use National Saving Certificate (which basically shows that this amount is freeze in bank for 1 year and I am getting monthly profit on it)?

Should I need to show that I have these funds from last six months?

Many Thanks
Sidd

You can use NSC, Kisan vikas patra, govt. bonds, fixed deposits, share, investment etc. Just say that you will encash them when immigration is approved.

Can these funds be gifted by your family? If yes, do they also need to give authority letter or anything else saying that these funds are mine?

Hi,

I have managed funds by selling my car and some funds are transferred by my cousin as he owes some money. If I attach my bank statement then CIC will ask this question, where you got this amount.
I can attach bank letter which is acceptable but later on if they ask about bank statement then what will be the answer. Would they accept my explanation? I am already maintaining my bank account since October 2013.
I read somewhere that ''Borrowing money for proof of funds and pretending those funds are yours, when they are not, is illegal''.

Kindly guide me in this situation.

Thanks
