Is my baby a dependent?

Apologies if this has already been discussed. A quick search didn't come up with anything.

I'm a British citizen applying for ILR for my wife. We have a six month old baby and I was wondering if I have to apply for the baby as a dependent?

Your help would be appreciated.

Not if the baby is British.

Where was the baby born?
What was your status on the date of baby's birth?

I've been a British citizen from birth and our baby was born in the UK.

Baby born in the UK to a British parent (50(9A)) is automatically British (1(1)(a)) otherwise than by descent.
