I was given 'Leave to Remain' on a discretionary basis (not asylum basis) in February of 2011 for 3 years. I am now in the process of filing for an extension. I have researched to find out what form I need to fill out and came to the conclusion that it is the FR (O). I have also spoke with the UK Border Agency who reaffirmed my findings. However, I have taken all my documents and information to an OISC level 1 adviser to file my extension. . This adviser is saying that it is a DL form which I need to file and is insistent that he is right. He said that if you call the UK Border agency 10 times you will be given 10 different answers and that I should not listen to them. I am worried as my form is due by the 14th of February. He said that if he sends the DL and it is wrong it won't matter and that the UK Advisory Board will give me more time to file the correct form without penalty. From everything I know and have read this is wrong and I could even then have to take the 10 year route. Please, please help!! Is it the FLR (O) or the DL? I thank you in advance for any assistance you can give me regarding this very urgent matter.
