Tiar 4 Dependent Right to Work

Hi all senior members and gurus, can plz any body let me know about right to work for dependent, i have just applied for my tier 4 student extension in level 7 and course duration is about 3 years and the college is highly trusted so now how many chances for my dependent that he can get right to work?

You are not allowed to work in the UK if you are on a course at any level with an education provider that is not a UK higher education institution or a publicly funded further education college (unless you are on a short-term study abroad degree programme at an overseas higher education institution).

The above applies to the dependants as well IMO. You need to see what type of institution you are going to study in. If its an HEI or a University then you can bring dependants (if not already in the UK) & are allowed to work as well. (student & dependant).

@ M.R252, if your dependant have been given work permit on the previous leave before you guys submitted your extension, then your dependant will continue to get the same work permit right as before.

Thanks for all , yes my dependent got full right to work when he came here with me but now different people says different stories as i have applied for the extension and my college is public funded and im on level 7 now and college is HSI as well , but still in confusion lets see , Hope for the best.

What is the name of your college?

If your college is a Public Funded college and a HEI she will have work rights.
