Moving from Ireland to UK

Post by plaistow » Tue Feb 04, 2014 4:14 am

Hi

I want to ask a question on behalf of my friend, He is Irish national and wants to move permanently to the UK and need to know if his salary is also accepted / Considered in the UK what he has earned there.

Once he gets here he want to apply for his Wife visa and would UKBA would consider his salary what he has earned there. He earns around 32k Euro a year.

Please advice.

Thanks

It would be cheaper for him to use the EU route if he is Irish - no requirement to meet and route to settlement is now the same time as the UK visa.

His previous salary can only be considered if he has a job offer to start in the UK within 3 months, although this is in regards to returning residents. Not sure if it would be the same for your friend's situation.
