I have read somewhere in this forum that we can request information from workpermits department. I wrote a e-mail to them and this is the response.

Did I contact the wrong office , if so can you guys please give me the right contact information.

Unfortunately the Freedom of Information Act does not cover the use of
providing data pertaining to individuals, as this is under the
legislation of the Data Protection Act. Therefore such requests are classed as
Subject Access Request and must be sent to the Data Protection Unit.
Please submit your request to the following address:

Data Protection Unit

Croydon
CR9 2AT

A £10 fee is required made payable to "The Accounting Officer - Home
Office".

If you require any further advice, please do not hesitate to contact

They are right and a SAB request would contain information held on the IND computers. This would include WP, FLR applications, any details at all you have sent to the immigration department.

Make a formal request to the address you have been given and you would receive your file.
