A few questions regarding newborn baby

Post by Ellie_84 » Tue Feb 04, 2014 11:40 pm

Hi all,

We now have a new family member that is a beautiful baby girl :)

I have a few questions regarding this and will be very grateful.

Q1: Which form do we need to use to apply for baby's dependant visa?
Q2: Do we need to inform UKBA about our baby? If yes, is there any special form for it?
Q3: Do we need to register her with police and/or update our police certificates? (we are required to do so)

Thank you very, very much!!

Cheers.
Ellie

If baby is not travelling, then there's no need to make any application.

Thank you so much, Vinny!

What if we want to travel back to our country? In this case we do need a visa I believe. So which form do we need to use in this case? And do we need to inform UKBA somehow that the baby was born? And police as well? Thanks a lot!

The baby's category may depend on the parent's (304-309).
