Getting married in Uk to illegal immigrant

Hi All

I would like you to advice me if it's possible to get married in Uk,I have a partner whom have and indefinite leave to remain and we have a child who was born last year and has a British passport already,we have contacted solicitors to try legalise my stay as I'm an overstayer and we have been adviced that Discreationary leave is the best option for our case.

But now we were thinking of getting married here but I've checked on documents which should be provided to register marriage they need your Id as well,will they allow us to register our marriage even though I'm illegal.

What don't you give them a call or go there and have a chat and see what they say? Since you have a child together and living together, your are not trying to get married for convenience reasons but genuine love. You will never know unless you talk to them.
