hi,
I applied for asylum in march 2013 at the time i use to hold a tier 4 general student visa but my asylum was failed and i was told by my case worker that your student visa has not been curtailed in the home office systems and you are able to apply for a new student visa. My visa was going to expire in November 2013 but I left the UK at my own expense in September. In December i applied for a new student visa at the British embassy in UAE but it was refused due to my failed asylum status.

So my question is until when my future visa applications will be refused even though i am not on any type of re entry bans ?

Well, when you applied for asylum you had an existing visa. One apply for asylum when there is a risk of persecution in the home country or something similar but yet you decided to go back. This may have cast doubt on the credibility of your application and any subsequent applications.

There is no time frame! As the OP said your credibility will be in doubt for all future application. On what grounds did you apply for asylum? (If you don't mind saying)..You can always re-apply and try to explain your situation to the ECO..

As you have bad immigration history, its really hard to get any UK visa except some very special circumstances. Now a days they even don't issue visa to normal applicant or a first timer so you can think where you are standing.
