UK EEA Family Permit vs Residence Permit

The question: What is the difference ? My wife is Hungarian and I am Brazilian. What I supposed to request ? a EEA FP or a residence permit ? And what is the difference bw both ?

You may apply for an EEA FP from outside the UK only.

You may apply for a residence card from inside the UK only.
