Hi all. I need some advise regarding immigration laws and marriage.

I'm a 27 year old student doing a postgrad in London at the momenet. I'm from Ireland but i intend to make the UK my home once I finish my studies. While here i met an Egyptian girl who is 21. She is here on a student visa. We have developed a serious relationship and and we want to get married. There isnt really a rush to get married because her student visa is valid for the next few years. What I want to ask is;

1. As an Irish or EU citizen will my girlfriend get permission to stay in the UK permanently if we get get married here?

2. What do we need to do in order to prove that it isnt a marriage of conveniance and that we are rreally married and living together?

3. If we can get married how long does the process take to change her status from student visa to spouse?

4. Where do we apply to start this process?
