no portugal citizen letter

no portugal citizen letter

my husband is portugal citizen and reside in uk.
my self and my son is indian citizen.my son is 13 years old.wer are in uk.
now,my son wants to renew his indian passport .so i contact indian high commission in london.but they need letter about that my son have no portugal nationality. so i contact portugal embassy in london but they not issue this type of letter.
so any one help me how to obtain this letter.
