Any downside to a Subject Access Request

Was thinking of applying for a SAR - but are there any known (or probable) downsides?
Obviously a record is kept of this.

I found a lot of very valuable amount of information on my SAR file covering 15 years. Sometimes with caseworker notes / opinions about my previous applications.

The only negative i have heard is if you application is with UKBA and you apply for SAR if can slow down the process a little bit, otherwise i can only see upside.

Keeping record of your request is not negative it is just that: keeping the record as they required to do.

Yes, just wasn't sure if it marked you as a 'trouble maker' or something.

Did it include all details of entry dates (e.g. landing cards).
Helps making the reconciliation of travel dates more easy.

Yes it include everything from the first details of visa i applied back home landing cards, all my statements, even last application form i filled with all letters of complaints i sent about delays and their responses.
