CAN A TIER 4 STUDENT RETURN TO UK WITH HER US CITIZEN CHILD?

I am a tier 4 international student from Nigeria. I am pregnant and I would like to travel to US to deliver my baby. I am due in July 2014 but my student visa expires in February 2015. Although, my child will have automatic US passport and I plan to return with him or her to UK so as to complete my studies.

My question is will I be allowed entry back into UK with my child without any hassles? I Plan to return latest 30 August 2014.

Are you deferring your course because of your pregnancy? They are going to ask it definitely when you will re enter in UK in August 2014, and will check with your educational institute.

When is your course due to finish? What type of course you are studying and at what type of institution? what is the length of your course?

My course is due to finish in October 2014. I am a postgraduate student studying MSc Management at Robert Gordon University and my length of course is 13 months.

No, I am not deferring my course. All academic activities end in june 2014 except dissertation which I can actually combine with child birth. I will definitely inform my school about my travelling.
