Information for Tier 2 General from South Africa

Hello everyone,

Basically, my family are in South Africa, my sister and her boyfriend & my niece are wanting to immigrate to the UK for obvious reasons and they are looking at the category Tier 2 General. They are looking to have my sisters boyfriend be the main applicant and come over first. He has been working for banks in SA, working under Commercial property (arranging finance etc) and I was just wondering a few things really....are companies really offering sponorship for just a normal people and what are his chances of getting work in the UK on this Visa? Could he come here on a holiday visa and then appy to stay on the tier 2 general? I have no idea how this whole thing works and how we can go finding him work with him based in SA still and the company waiting for him to get over here.....

In order for him to come to the UK under Tier 2 he would need to find a sponsor first. He would also need to be skilled to NQF level 6 (unless he is offered a job in a shortage occupation):
