ILR query - traffic offence

Post by jayy » Sun Feb 09, 2014 9:39 am

hello,

Need some help on the below ques please.

I recently received a letter for speeding ticket that asks to fill a form to mention driver details etc whether it was me driving or someone else. I have ILR PEO appointment before that letter reply deadline. My plan is to keep the letter till after ILR appointment and reply back after that. I won't mention this in ILR application as letter doesn't mean I got the points on my license yet.

Ques are:

1. Should I need to mention this on ILR?

2. if I don't mention (as planned), what about citizenship next year? would there be any chance they could object on not declaring at ILR application? (or it shouldn't matter as points will be given on a date after granting ILR?)

Would appreciate a response on this please.

If this is for a FPN it will have no affect on ILR. For citizenship, so far as there is no more than one FPN in the last 12 months, that'll be ok.
