When 10 years period starts

Hi members
I have a question to ask
when a person 10 years qualifying period time starts
the date person gets the first entry clearance (in my case it's 03/03/2005)
or
the date person enters in uk (in my case 13/05/2005)

Your 10-year qualifying period starts from either:

the date when you arrived in the UK with a visa; or
the date you were given permission to stay in the UK.
