Which Visa is Next?

Post by huckitP » Mon Feb 17, 2014 5:21 am

We have been married since 2006 but my wife's current 27-month visa will expire in a few months. This was obtained before the rules changed in 2012. Which visa comes next and which form should we use? UKBA website does not clearly indicate which is needed. Depending on the page it either says SET(M) of FLR(M). Can she apply from the UK or must she return to home country?

SET(M) if she has spent 2 years in the UK with spouse leave. B1 English and LIUK test required in addition to cohabitation proof. SET(M) is an in-Country application.

Here's a link to the info on SET(M)
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas ... ormset(m)/
(Casa, not CR001)
