VAF 4A - Appendix 2 - Pls help

hi,

I m a british citizen n had a arrange marriage in oct 2013 in Sri Lanka. I m sponsoring my wife now and she have an appointment this friday 21/2, I got stuck in filling the form Appendix 2. pls help

I understand i have to show 18,600. I have a main job which earn 17,500. Second partime job is in a shop, hourly rate of 7.45, i have p60 for both job for year 2012-13 and earned around 20,000.

in the Form :

3.3 Income from Salaried employment in the UK - Complete part 3A

Intidate which option you are Relying on - Category A Category B

can you please advise which one category do I have to choose?

I m filling 3.4 - 3.11 for my full time job.

Again I m filling 3.13 - 3.19 for my partime job.

Is this correct ?


my second question..

3.20 - What was your sponser's total income (before tax ) from salaried employment in the 12 months prior to the application -

Can you please advise on this.. do I have to put my 2nd job annual salary ?

or

do i have to add my main job and second job salary together and put the totall there ?

I m so confused...please help..

1.The form layout isn't very good for someone relying on 2 jobs to meet the requirement.
If you are applying using Cat B then yes.

If you are using Cat A, I would photocopy Part 3 and complete the questions for your second job up 3.12 then attach it to the form.

2. Work out your average total salary for the 2nd job and add it to your first job's annual salary.

main and highest paid should be Cat A and enter details on form.Second job information will be added into section where its states,,,"ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION",lower down in the application form.
