Wondering if someone can help.

My brother has 2 weeks till his family visit visa to expire. He currently resides in Ghana, he has applied for 2 years family visit visa.. if it gets denied will he still be able to travel with the 2 weeks left on his visa??

Assuming the refusal comes within the next two weeks, he could travel on his existing visa but it's likely his entry would be contingent on showing that his stay would be limited to the few days remaining. Why does he need a two year visa; is he a regular traveller to the UK that needs to come and go frequently?
