Urgent: Tier 2 Short Term Staff ICT to Tier 2 General

Hi,

I have Tier 2 Short Term Staff ICT visa and currently working in UK as Software Consultant. My current company is not ready to provide me salary above 40k required to ICT long term.

But my main question is that, can I apply for Tier 2 general visa from another employer. If yes, then please let me know about all the possibilities.

Current visa status below:

Visa start date: 01-April-2013
Visa End dat: 31-march-2014
Any past visa: NO

Hi,

You will be subjected to a 12 months cooling off period before you apply for any Tier-2 general category visa from your home country. After 12 months period, if you have a valid CoS from another sponsor company, then only you could apply for Tier-2 general visa.
