Hello! Members.
I live in the UK and would like to bring my recently married partner to UK , her dates of arrival would be Mid April 2014.
She has filled the Form online through visa4UK website, and I have a few doubts regarding a few columns.
Since she previously lived in the UK the following Query comes up.
Have you ever received medical treatment in the UK?
Is it required to mention any minor visit to NHS or GP say cold or Flu.
(I suppose ukba is only interested to know if there are any major Medical benefits which the applicant may have taken in past from NHS)
What evidence of funds have you supplied?
I mentioned.
Main Applicants Bank Statements, Main Applicants Letter from Employer/Sponsor
But do we actually need both of them or just either one of them is fine.
Just wanted to confirm What are the list of documents required.
1.Print Out of the Completed Online Application form with photographs. (Original)
2.Marriage Certificate (Original)
3.Passport of Applicant/Dependent (Original)
4.Passport and Visa copies of the Main Applicant - myself in this case (Photocopies)
5.Proof of Maintenance Funds (Main Applicant's UK Bank Statements having maintained a minimum 900£ balance per month or a Letter of Maintenance from his sponsor)
6.Proof of Living Accommodation (Main Applicant's Rental Agreement in the UK)
Q.1 Do I need any letter from employer/sponsor that my dependent is going to join me. Also is it required to mention about maintenance funds in the letter?
Q.2 Do I need to show a proof/evidence that i am renting an accommodation? What can be an acceptable proof of evidence?
I have got a Rental Agreement signed between me and my landlord as a normal printout with both parties signature will that be sufficient?
Q.3 I have maintained much above the minimum balance through out last 2 months (Jan and Feb 2014) except in Dec 2013 it was a bit low.
If I am showing the bank statements is it required to show the original bank statements or scanned print outs are accepted.
Please share your thoughts and experience
Any piece of advice would help.
Kind Regards
