Can I Get Children Tax Credit??

Hello There,

My question is if i can get children tax credit...my husband n i are religiouly married but not registered. I m German and my husband is pakistani. His case is in process at home office and he does not have any legal documents. Can we get children tax credit?...i have already applied for children tax credit and today i have got letter from hmrc asking for more information like NINO and other documents.

Please Help
