Dear All,
Have just applied for my wife to come and visit my family in UK (her in-laws). She is based in Canada and has a Convention Travel Document issued by the Canadian Government. She also has work permit to work in Canada. I am a British.
We (I) submitted all the required documents, importantly showing my more than ample finances as i am paying for the trip + all the other docs like return flights, insurance, invitation letter etc. I have also showed that we are married and have been together for 5 years.
My concern is that because she still does not have Canadian Citizenship (takes two yrs minimum), is it likely that she will be rejected in her Family Visit Visa application?
If she does get rejected do you guys advise me to use one of the 'lawyer' services to assist with further applications?
Your advice duly appreciated
