Salary below appropriate level for Tier2 Visa

Post by Rashiluk » Wed Feb 26, 2014 7:02 pm

Hi All,
My current visa - Tier 1 Post study work visa runs out on 23rd July 2014. I am currently employed as Warehouse Administrator in a company through an agency. I started working for this company to do maternity cover but the company no longer wish to offer permanent role. I have been paid salary of 18,000 per annum.
Is it too late for me now to look for new job that employer is willing to sponsor me with minimum salary of 20,000 p.a.?
I have read the rule that I should be employed by a particular employer for more than 6 months before applying for tier2 general visa.
I have studied in this country as MSc in Logistics and supply chain management (tier 4 student visa and after that I got tier1-PSW visa)

no, it is not too late but the min salary is now £20,300

this rule has been scrapped 2 years ago, you don't have to work at all for an employer before they can sponsor you.

try to find a sponsor
