My experience/ takeaway/ learning for the forum:
1. Took nearly 6 months from date of applications, over 5.5 months from date of bio metrics - but within the 6 months time frame, even though HO said it might go over 6 months.
2. Many who completed their applications (including bio metrics) 1-2 months after me, received the approvals before me - which did lead to some anxiety.
3. There were some who have had to wait more than I had to and so I consider myself fortunate.
4. HO under promised, and over delivered on timelines, in the end - which is GREAT!
5. I see many who start contacting HO after 2-3 months. I believe we should give them time they state to let them focus on the work at hand, rather address anxious applicant queries. However, if you come close to 6 months, do give a nudge by emailing them (it helps, it helped others, and it helped me too!)
6. This site is a great forum and perhaps moderators should boil the data to draw some insights in the world of AI - so future users can benefit even more... just thought!
