UPDATE 10 OCT 2023: A week after receiving call from Home Office as mentioned above, I sent an email to Further Nationality Enquiries on Mon. 9 Oct 2023 for an update since they said decision would be "soon."

Received email reply this morning (10/10/23) that application was approved. Waiting on invitation email for citizenship ceremony, which Home Office said would be arriving within two weeks. Will update here once received.

01/11/2022 = a reply from HO: "As you may be aware, naturalisation is not an automatic process, and we have to make a number of enquiries to ensure that applicants can satisfy the statutory requirements. Some of these enquiries are carried out by external agencies on our behalf and can sometimes take longer than six months to complete."
03/01/2023 = a reply from MP "we have received a verbal update from a member of the MP Accounts Management Team at the Home Office... checks are still ongoing and that UKVI would endeavour to conclude your application as soon as operationally possible... Please do get back in touch if you experience a significant further delay in this case."

Today is 13 months since I completed the payment and started the application process. I can't put into words how upset I am. However I've seen other cases when people waited 16, 18 months without any luck... I don't know what to do - seems to be a dead end.

Update: 03/08/23- Recieved an email from HO atlas asking for further information regarding a CCJ I got in 2018. They were looking for proof that it has been paid off or is being paid off. I emailed them the Information within the hour. The wait continues.

Update: emailed them on the 09/08/23 asking if they had received the further evidence as I did not receive a confirmation email and the email said my app could be rejected if i do not send the information by 17/08/23. No reply. I have emailed again today asking the same.

Update 27/09/23: I emailed further enquiries again yesterday evening as I had not heard from them.
i received an email back today informing me that my application has been approved. Overall it took 5 months from the date of application . I know it can be stressful for those waiing longer as I did but try and be patient and follow up when you can. Good luck everyone.

Send an email to further nationality on 2/9/2023 and got response on 6/9/2023. ( just confirm that the applications are currently being processed and I have to wait).

It took more than six months and we have not get any thing as we checking spams and inbox on daily bases and we start to be really tired. Hope to get the approval soon.

7 months and 6 days and there is no approval to the whole family.

11 Sept: I got a call from the home office to understand my husband excessive travel and in the same day we uploaded the reason and document requested.

18 Sept: I got email from mmst workflow briefly saying sorry for the delay happened and there is IT issue and they are working on it but they did not mention when it could be solved .

25 Sept: we asked by replying mmst workflow about the IT issue if it is being solved. ( no answer yet)

2 Oct : I contact our MP and asked him for help as we left without any clear answer why it I takes more than 7 months for us.

Every Monday we say will get the approval Email and then we get disappointed for the whole week.
