Just to share my experience: I have put my office as delivery address, cause i dont have concierge at my apartment. I thought it would be safer to give my office address, however ironically letter has been delivered to a wrong pigeon whole in the office on 17 April and has been there for 3 month, until somebody spot it by accident on 10 Jul. I have email Home office several times as i was a bit suspicious why it takes more than 5 month but they told me I am not allowed to contact them until 6 month have elapsed. Unfortunately, once home office sent you the mail, they dont follow up with email. So it was quite stressful to arrange inauguration next morning as i had only 2 days before deadline. I understand that they are quite busy, but a simple email that they have sent mail would be helpful in situation when mail is lost somewhere. Otherwise, HM is quite efficient, I have applied on 25th Feb and they have confirmed on 17April.

Have used this forum when applying for ILR and now BC. It took me nearly 6 months to get my ILR when i desperately required to travel and get ILR for my self build mortgage.

Cannot believe that the BC process including ceremony took me under 1 month. Good luck to all waiting and my advise to you is not to stress and overthink things. Applicants also tend to give a lot more documents and evidence than what is actually required. Meet the specified requirements only as you have already submitted all the required evidence for ILR.

First I've received my documents back and an approval letter in an A4 plastic mailing bag, asking to wait for the ceremony letter from council.
Dated a day later, I've received a separate approval letter in the usual A5 brown envelope, asking to contact council for the ceremony within 21 days.
I was away and the council sent a letter automatically including a date for the ceremony, only asking for confirmation of attendance.
