I applied on 4th march 2015 ,No news yet no sms , is this going to be another waiting cast handling all my passport and brp card,

I never received any SMS when I applied for passport. I called them after a week and it was on the system and I was told it is in progress. I told them that I just wanted to make sure they have my application as I didn't hear anything. They were very helpful.

One week after the interview
Thanks to all the members that had positive impact on my application since 2012 that I joined this forum

Got mine today!! Ten days after complete application received (First time adult applying online from USA) I have my passport - delivered !

I don't know why it's taking ages to get my passport processed
I still haven't received it
I see lot of people are getting passport 48hrs after interview and it's a week since I had my interview so I decided to stop calling them I also called Dx secured mail and they don't Have anything on my name with them
Updates:I booked the interview when I received the letter and the guy I spoke to took ages to get it done and later apologised that it's was his first day at his new job so when I got to interview they couldn't find my name on the system booked for that day though the interview was conducted in a manual way everything was written down and my photograph was taken could this be the cause of the delay and I was assured that it will be processed same way that I shouldn't worry
Now am worried as as I see people getting it within 2days
I can just wait to get over all this
Any suggestions is welcome pls!!

Just to let you all know that my passport was delivered thru the letter box whilst no one was there at home. Surprisingly it wasnt a signed for delivery. Very strange, considering the importance a passport is meant to hold it was just slipped in thru my letter box.

It is common for DX to just push the passport through mail slot. They'll only get a signature if the area is known to be problem area.
