Hi all,
I have applied for BC on the 1st Of January 2019 online. Sent the supporting documents on the 2nd January via Royal Mail and also did biometric on the same day.
I wrote to my local MP asking his support on the 15th January re my application.
I received my passport and supporting documents yesterday, on the 8th February with a note saying they’ll let me know about their decision later.
I’ve just got a letter from my MP which inc a letter from the Home Office, letting him know that I’ve got the approval and the decision letter is on the way.
Reading all those posts and answers have been such a help! Thank you all

emailed nationality support team on 23rd january 2019 to ask for an update, got a reply on 24th january 2019 which said all application are deal with receipt order because your application was sent on 04th december 2018, it will be take longer ,once it done you will be contacted by caseworker.

sent another email on 4th feb 2019 asking an update which said a communication has been posted to you, it will take 21 days for you to receive it, letter of approval is dated 1st feb 2019, got it on 07th feb 2019

My husband applied on the 26th of June, received his letter around beginning of September and will have his ceremony on the 7th of November

update on my side - i received an email on the 17th from a contractor for the home office asking for 1 detail on my application and then told me he granted me my application.

husband received his passport on the 17th of November so less than 5 months from application - longest to wait was ceremony

I received an email on 23rd Jan about missing travel history evidence and I replied with a scan of travel document pages on the same day. Received acknowledgment the next day. This might have delayed the process for couple of days thanks to UKVCAS lack of knowledge of the process and snow delayed post delivery for another few days (received Monday instead of Fri).
