13 Aug 2012:
Three weeks since posting, called IPS. Was told application was received 25 July 2012, examined 26 July 2012, Currently "In Process" but no printing date yet as they "don't get a date until 3 weeks (for postal application) after receipt (25 July in my case)". Told to call again after Wednesday for more information.
Does anyone know if moving passed "examined" to "in process" means it has been approved and is just going through the normal steps before printing?
15 Aug 2012:
Phoned and this time I was told it is "awaiting examination".
17 Aug 2012:
Phoned and was told "I have no idea, no info on my screen, you need to talk to the senior progress team.. oh, they're busy, we'll call back within 48 hours"
19 Aug 2012:
No call back
20 Aug 2012:
Called them and got to the progress team (I think the people who first answer the phone can only tell you "received", "awaiting examination", and "complete/processed". After being transferred to progress team member, I found out the application went to the examiner on 17 Aug 2012.
23 Aug 2012:
Still with examiner.
