You quote a date of acknowledgment via both am email and a letter. The only email i got after i submitted my application was titles 'payment successful - this confirms that we have received your payment and you application has been submitted.' Is that the email you refer to in your timeline under 'Date of acknowledgement and what letter did you get on 22 Jan 2020? I didnt get any letter in the post so wondering if something has been missed at my end. Thanks
Hi, no-- I got an email acknowledging receipt of my application, not the payment (since my solicitor was the one who paid the Home Office directly). The letter on 22 January was sent to my solicitor, it acknowledged receipt of the client's application and the payment of 1330 GBP. I'm not sure what emails/letters are normal for direct applicants, sorry, but if they confirmed your payment it's probably fine. Good luck!
