Hi Misfits, im just wondering wethere COA will guarantee that the Decision will come out with the positive result. As you said it means that my application is Valid, does it mean that the HO will not gonna require me further documents to support my application?
Kamote0926 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2019 11:36 amHi fani,
Waiting for 4 months was too long. Have you ever contacted the resolution centre before? Have you ever involve your MP with regards to your application? If non of these, you might try to call the eu resolution centre, and send them an email with regards to the status of your application, tell them your concern, I know they will answer you the same like we cant give you the status update or Each application is considered on a case-by-case basis etc. But atleast they will make a note or notify the caseworker regarding your email and concerns and to escalate your case as youve been waiting for 4 months now and no COA yet. Then if nothings happened, you might try to involve your MP, send them an email regarding your application and concern. some of the MPs are very helpul, they even send a letter to home office regarding your case, but some are not, they will just simply emailed you a copy paste whats in the eu settlement website. Hope you will get yours soon.

Not at all . it just mean you send a Valid application under EU settlement. At this stage your application is only looked at by a admin worker ( not caseworker )
I got COA next day after Biometrics. But after 2 months got an email and call from Caseworker that i've documents missing and i should send them. Then 10 days later Settled Status

So if we have not receive a COA, the caseworker has not even check our application? Cause I have called more than 6 times now and they keep saying its with the caseworker but I havent even receive my COA.
I have involved my MP and even he replied me that the EU settlement hasnt replied them back about my case.

I was thinking the same. Once COA recieved, the caseworker already looked at it, and maybe getting more advice from senior caseworker to decide thats why it take some time for us to recieved the decision. I did not involve my MP, but I said to my self if I dont recieved my COA in 3 months, I will contact my MP. Hope for the best mate. You will recieved yours as well soon. Pray and wait![]()

Non eu applying for settlement scheme timeline:
Application submitted: 22.07.19
Biometrict done: 07.08.2019
Contacted the eu resolution centre twice (email and phone): 12.09.2019, they cant give me the satatus of my application, they said the caseworker will gonna contact me if there are more required docs to submit.
COA recieved: 30.09.19.
My question is, when you recieved the COA, will this be a guarantee you will recieved a positive result? By the way I applied for Settled Status.
I’ve read that the COA is confirmation of a valid application under the EU Settlement Scheme.
I too I’m non eaa national .my time line is
Applied for settled status 6/9/19
Biometrics done 13/9/19
COA - still waiting
Status approval letter- still waiting.
My case is I separated from my eea partner, I don’t have a valid ID for my partner, all I have is P60s Bills and NI .
Just hoping for the best .

Hi askmeplz82,
Did you submit your application online or paper based? Maybe thats why it took them 2months to decide as they missed your documents after sending you your COA. But if you submitted your application Online, how come they lost it? Based on your statement, they only requested you to send the same documents because they missed it right? Not unless HO required you more or additional docs to support your application. So meaning, once COA recieved theres a 95 percent change to get the positive result wethere they missed it they lost or whatever reason.![]()
did you check your EMAIL junk folder ? they send by emailMrsNonEU wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2019 3:24 pmHi,askmeplz82 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2019 12:39 pmKamote0926 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2019 7:24 am

Wow! Congratulations! That's lovely! Getting both COA and Settled Status within minutes. I hope I get my decision soon, noticing that we did biometrics same date.sista wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 11:18 pmHi everyone
This is my timeline. I applied online as I do not have a biometrics residence card.
Application type: Non EU
Applied on: 18th Aug 2019
Biometrics: 22nd Aug 2019
COA: 4th October 2019 - 4.04pm
Settled status: 4th October 2019 - 4.08pm
My husband and children with Portuguese passports applied and got status within 2 days of application.
Hope it helps someone.
Quick update... called the Resolution centre last week Monday 30/09 was told my application was fine that they are just waiting for my EEA husband’s application to be completed. Advised that I call back with my husband to chase up his application.abbk000 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2019 1:05 pmHi everyone
I’m new here and the comments gave me the courage to call the Resolution Centre.
I’m a non EEA family member. My husband and I made our application on 01/08/19. He made his then I made mine adding his application reference to mine.
He had to send his EU National ID and it was sent back a week later and his COA was emailed too.
For me my application was 01/08/19 and biometrics taken 05/08/19 and my COA was emailed to me immediately.
Neither I nor my husband has heard anything after that. I called this morning was put on hold for like 20 minutes and was eventually told my application is with a caseworker and I should ring back if I don’t hear anything in about 3 week![]()
Frustrating!!
The waiting is alarming! Please just want to ask if anyone know how long it takes to receive a decision after COA, it took 6 weeks for me to get it and now I dont know how long I have to wait for the decision.Adnane2015 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 07, 2019 8:23 pmIs there any deadline by which they must answer !! it seams like they can take as much time as they like ....
my case now is been 4 months and still waiting .....
